How do I clean my bag?

All of our bags are machine washable! Wash on cold and machine dry for 10-20 minutes.

How big are the inside pockets?

There are four zipped interior pockets: two water resistant and two mesh. Each are 11"H x 10"W.

Can you fit a water bottle in the outside pocket?

Definitely. You can fit a Nalgene or a Stanley water bottle in one of the 2 the outside mesh pockets. The 6 open canvas pockets can fit a smaller water bottle like a kids' Camelbak.

Does the Beach Tote come with a crossbody strap?

The patterned or solid crossbody straps can be purchased separately.

Does it have enough structure to stand on its own when it is empty?

Yes! It sure does.

Can it fit in the overhead compartment on an airplane?

No, not if it is fully packed. However, it folds down to pack flat and weighs less than 2 lbs, so it is so easy to stash it in another bag for your beach trip!

How many towels can it fit?

If you're just packing towels on the inside, it can fit about 8. If you're packing all beach/pool necessities too, it fits 4-5 depending on the towel thickness.

Ridiculously capacious in a good way

Fantastic for toting towels, snorkels, books, etc while keeping phones, kindles, sunglasses, etc separate and clean. The outer pockets perfect for sunscreen. Strong enough to do double duty as a personal item complete with laptop, travel gear, and chargers and snacks. I do wish there were one size smaller for lighter-gear days.

LOVE this bag. Great for swim meets and days at the pool for my young family of 6! Which means lots of diapers, life jackets and toys. It has the perfect amount of give/structure and so many pockets to keep things organized and easily accessible.
